GMH Self-Help Journal has been developed to assist participants in identifying personal challenges, establishing clear objectives, and formulating structured plans to achieve improved mental health outcomes. Additionally, the journal incorporates a daily self- assessment framework, enabling participants to evaluate their progress, monitor personal growth, and maintain accountability throughout their wellness journey.
(GMH) stands for Getting My Help which is a community-driven, non-profit foundation committed to advancing mental wellness. The organization functions as a conduit, connecting individuals with qualified mental health care providers and comprehensive support services.
The base foundational philosophy of the GMH Self-Help Journal can be found in the following: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory, two DNA governing rules, and reprogramming the mind and body to function the way it was designed to function.
